I think this game pretty much represents our entire season, all thats left are High School football teams for us to play.

Maybe I am not giving SMU enough credit though, so maybe they will kick our asses.

Southern Miss is a pretty good team. Most teams around the country try to schedule a winnable game for homecoming, but this is definately no gimme. When Southern Miss has gotten to play 'the big boys' over the years they have done quite well.

there won't be many penalties, the team has improved greatly on those. Now we just need to mix up the rbs for different looks and have stone in there to move the ball downfield. If we can do that, 31-14 with one of sm's tds is off of a turnover.

You probably won't believe me but there was a time where we lost 3 or 4 homecoming games in a row. At that point I was convinced that we had a curse of the homecoming game hanging over us.

I wish I could find the W-L stats on homecoming games. Most sites I've found don't mention if it was a homecoming game or not.
