i thought uconn was the best team in the country

uconn is down 21 now...i wish this game was on tv so i could see what's going on...i know novac is killing them though (34 points, 9 rebounds with 8 minutes left), just imagine what redick could do to them tonight since he does more than just shoot...

Wow, I almost did a double take looking at the NCAAB scores tonight. UCONN is really getting rocked. Earlier today I was wondering why Duke got all their hype and yet UCONN is also undefeated.

still think they are good, ask me that at the end of the year as well and i will say the same thing...they are 2 good and 2 well coached not to re emerge at the end of the year as one of the best teams in the country, prolly get a #1 seed possibly. and if u think they arent so great and talented you are badly mistaken

they are good and i think they will go deep but that 1 seed is looking in question to me after this. they have marcus williams back and get blown out. the big east is soooo rough its gonna be really hard for them to get a 1 seed battling against duke nova sec(florida) and big10(illinois) teams. then memphis has a free walk to probobly finish with 2 losses.

florida still reminds me of the team that was early ranked #1 then just fell apart, i dont see them doing any real damage later on in the year...i think they will manage to choke and fall apart as they normally do. as for the #1 seed i think they dont lose from here on out till tourney time, him being back im sure disrupted the chemistry that had been developed in the last few games...they should be fine and are one of the best teams in the country, had Charlie stayed, prolly one of teh best Uconn teams ever.

perfect paragraph to describe duke.

last night your bold prediction got absolutely destroyed... tonight one of your "top" teams got their ass handed to them.

lol they play nova twice lousiville twice and @indy then cuse twice and pitt and the rest of the big east that i didnt mention. they wont win all those games i guarantee. its gonna be really hard for them to win almost all of them and get a 1 seed in the strongest conference. florida is a bit shaky but the sec is so weak that chances are really good for them (or kentucky if things change) to get a 1 seed. im not saying uconn cant get a 1 (tonight is just 1 night) but its gonna be tough and they will likely have to win the conf tourney also

ive said before my teams i like this year are nova and uconn so thats gonna be some good games

Did they lose? Just got in from a 13 hour day at the airport..

haha nm I'm guessing so after reading it over.

Oh well. Hopefully we take down Duke coming up here so only Nova is undefeated (of the teams that matter: read not UF)

I know you know your shit but please tell me you are joking on this one. Bad loss no doubt though but nothing to worry about. Pretty much every team has one of these type of games...

I think its something to worry about when your team gets blown out by unranked Marquette. If this happened to NC State, there would be at least 3 "fire Herb" threads and a 20 page game thread concluding that the only solution is to fire Lee Fowler, Herb Sendek and everyone else associated with the program.

This game was a blowout, make no mistake.

Haha yea that is because our fanbase are doomsday type for some reason. If we lose to Duke there will be fire Herb threads starting to pop up... just the way it is.

A 20 pt loss for UConn doesn't mean anything this time of year. They ALWAYS have these losses (see GT loss in 2004 -- actually they lost 3 games by 15 or more that year and then went out in won the NCAA Championship)..

after watching that game im not convinced marquette is a bad team. i thought they would be bad losing diener(who was basically the team last year) but the other guys seem to be really athletic and good slashers, shooters which is a great complement to novaks ability. this team could turn some heads if they play like lastnight
