Anybody have one? Anyone have the old Nintendo DS? I think the major differences are:
-the physical placements of the buttons. They moved the power I think... -brighter screen -lighter weight -slimmer
but anyway, just wondering if anyone else has one of these. I miss mario, man...I just wanted something i could keep in my pocketbook for when I wanna just chill out and play a video game. I wonder if I could get F-Zero or even Street Fighter II!?!?! 6/18/2006 10:56:37 AM |

i got one last thursday, mostly just to play tetris and the new super mario bros, and maybe advance wars (but i wasn't too impressed with the new one, dual strike). the newer model was sufficient a reason to buy one, but i wouldn't have upgraded.
i've played with both the old one and the new one... the smaller size is one of the biggest things i like. it fits in my pocket and isn't incredibly bulky. the screen is crazy-bright too.
there's also a built-in mic. i'm not sure if this was in the original DS. 6/18/2006 11:34:32 AM |

they just put the mic in a different place.
i didnt play AW2, but DS is definately better than the first one (though it is a lil easier). 6/18/2006 11:40:34 AM |
