Does anyone know a one, Rayford William Law?
He left his ATM card in the machine and I would rather return it than cut it up (because getting a new card is such a bitch)
If he is a student, he has removed his info from the directory
Just let me know, if I dont hear anything, Ill destroy the card
Oh, and I called the number on the back, but it was the general bank number with no option to talk to anyone or report a lost card 8/26/2006 12:30:02 AM |

I would just cut it up. take it to the bank and you will be viewed with an air of suspicion. It isn't your job to clean up for others mistakes anyway. 8/26/2006 2:21:46 AM |

if you try it in the machine 3 times with random PINs, it should keep the card and it'll eventually be mailed back to him 8/26/2006 1:44:16 PM |

Heres an idea, if you're really lazy and cant just take it to his bank, and you dont wanna be on camera putting the pin of another persons card in (even if you are just trying to get the machine to eat it) :
put YOUR card in, click deposit, put the card in a deposit envelope with a note explaining that you found the card, where you found the card, and that you dont know how to return it to the proper owner and didnt want to enter the incorrect pin for the card 3x so it would get eaten.
or just call the number on the back of the card and tell them you found it and that the account owner should be called, by them, and notified that the card has been found and cut up, so they can send him a new one.

I found a card at that ATM last year also, I just turned it into the desk inside. Dunno if anything happened, but it made me feel happy inside with the fewest steps taken. 8/28/2006 12:01:52 AM |

I've found a card in the ATM before. The bank had just closed so I went around to the drive thru because I figured someone would be there. The woman there was nasty about me coming after hours, but after I said someone left their card in the ATM, she apologized and said she would handle it. 8/28/2006 3:41:16 PM |

Y'all try too hard. He'd be lucky if I cut it in half and threw each half in a separate trashcan. 8/28/2006 3:50:28 PM |
