98 Grand Marquis LS

heat doesnt work in car but AC still pumps. flooded the hose to the heater coil and unclogged some gunk. heater still not functioning. guessing that it may be a duct not opening(?) or maybe electrical malfunction (digitally functioning fine in car). please, pretty please, if anyone can help i really need my heat for this winter. i dont want to drive to class and have ice hanging off my nose.

i have the same problem with my crown vic, both of the hoses to the heater core are hot after a drive, so i think its a flap somewhere.

i had my unlce take a look at it when i was back in my home town. basically, i did not analyze the situation myself which leads me to my next statement--i dont know much about cars that's why i posted here so that maybe someone could solve the problem for some $ in return.

i really appreciate the help thus far though guys/gals(?)
