In all seriousness, though, I always enjoyed joe quesada's work. I loved the frank miller's ronin art too.

I liked McFarlane back during his Spider-Man days, but Spawn really turned me off.

There are some straight iconic McFarlane Spider-Man illustrations, though.

And there's also a classic drawing of the Hulk reflecting in Wolverine's claws

ahahhaha the thing i loved about liefeld is that all his characters had massive shoulder pads for no explicable reason. I tell ya what though, Shatterstar could really swing a mean sword despite those massive shoulder pads.



i'm a big fan of Romita Sr. (not so much jr.)... I liked the straight-forward simplistic sort of art. I think it functioned well as a supporter to the story itself, and not a distraction, which art can sometimes be.
