yeah i totally agree. i know they're trying to attract all audiences, but there are only about 50% of the bands i'd want to see.

with a lineup like that, i'd love to go

but my sister was dragged out there by her fiance 2 years ago and told me so many horror stories about wallowing in shit and piss.

Crowes + America + Dylan + Police + PJ + Umphrey's + Bela Fleck = priceless, in my opinion

I worked there last summer, got to go for free and got paid 300 bucks, and only had to sit around and give directions for 8 hours a day. Kinda lame work, but afterwards I got to see whatever bands I wanted to.

The nastiness is definitely right; we had to get there a couple days early and leave a couple days late and I didn't shower for a whole week. I swore I'd never work there again, but Bob Dylan and Pearl Jam tempt me.

The Police, Bob Dylan, and Pearl Jam ,Tom Waits, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, The Black Crowes, Keller Williams Band, Les Claypool, The Roots,Ozomatli, Perpetual Groove, John Butler Trio,Medeski Martin and Wood.

Only ones that matter.

I do however wish MMW was Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood, but you cant have everything.

And MTV is gaying Bonnaroo up

if you go, i would definately recommend seeing them. its a brother and sister playing classical guitars and they are absolutely amazing. apparently they were previously in some mexican death metal band, but now they play all types of stuff...you can really hear the metal influence though on their rhythms.

it's okay

in about 5 years from now, all that seattle stuff will be retro and it'll all be back in vogue...like the way the kiddies eat up the 'new new wave' sound that's out now...the sorority girls will be wearing flannel and acting like it's the latest and greatest

the lineup is good. but i've seen all the bands i'm interested in before or they'll be coming here in the next 6 months. the only actual draw in the lineup for me is the police. and to be honest, seeing a police reunion has a lot of potential for lameness.

pearl jam has been confirmed as "picking europe over bonnaroo" which leads me to believe that this list has some substance, as they obviously got it right that bonnaroo wanted PJ
