Sometimes while i drive it feels like i have cruise control on, but i don't; when i stop and put the car in neutral or park, the RPMs shoot up to about 3000 or more. It also seems harder to come to a complete stop as if the car doesnt want to stop.

This doenst happen all the time but enough to take notice. it is killing my gas mileage also.

Usually the problem goes away if i let the car sit for a few hours or if i put it N and rev the engine a few times. maybe my cruise control or throttle is sticking but i could use some expert advice here.

just used the AC for the first time this year

i though i was going crazy until i let dad drive yesterday to confirm

its crazy to be going up hill and accelerating when not touching the gas and the cruise is off

about $40 for the part, and about half an hour of your time to put it on and clean the tb/iac port

when you turn on the ac, the ecu bumps up the idle speed with the the iac
