ok, recap and thoughts -

what a great start to the new season / drama

it was never confirmed that Spencer and Heidi started the rumors but come on...Spencer is the biggest tool bag on the planet. Just look at the way he went out of his way to fuck up his apartment walls with that stupid / ugly graffiti Hollywood crap so Heidi couldnt paint them


and after dating a year / he proposed...wow, just wow....they both really deserve each other.
Audrina about flipped her shit when Heidi walked in her office w/ those stupid invites for a house warming party. [that jelly fish tank was fucking solid though]

Frankie's party was awesome. thats when all the drama really started. LC pretty much looked possessed when she saw them 2 walk in. I thought some blows were going to get thrown.

at the end of the episodes they showed the "whats new this season" clip and if LC goes back to Jason then she deserves the entire shit storm to come.

Oh and I just read an article in Entertainment Weekly where Spencer denies that that was an engagement ring, that they just edited so it would seem like that. He said something like if he was going to get engaged on tv, he wouldn't do it on Lauren's show.

The last I heard Jason got a drinking ticket too. This episode was pretty boring though. The major focus being on JD's dinner behavior. He's got to be on something or his brain has rotted away from getting wet way too much. The Heidi situation was pretty good for "surprise" when Spencer got home.

I was reminded of Arrested Development when the Newport Harbor girls ate at the Frozen Banana stand. I always thought it was just a ridiculous snack but they must be popular in California.

i lived in newport beach for the summer of 05...and i know of atleat half a dozen places there that sell frozen bananas (and frozen cheesecake). they are pretty good too.
