hate hate all you want. it's a good solid bike for the money. it has some balls to it and makes a comfy daily rider. I'm just going to be picking up a i4 again. looking to get 3000obo. i paid 1300 for the motor and a bunch more for the other shit. i had fun but im ready for something else.
the bike has a ton of shit done to it: '97 tl1000s 01 tlr motor (13,000 miles on engine) custom crank case breather 98+ thermostat upgrade 98+ ecu rifleman's 1/5 insert tlr headers kerker slip ons chatter box alarm Lamborghini Gallardo green paint done by Tony's paint and body. freestyle ingenuity frame sliders tlr: 6 piston calipers tlr master cylinder tlr galfer steel braided lines front and rear galfer pads. Michelin Pilot road tires (less than 1k miles on them)
this bike as a lot of torque and about 115 wheel horsepower (dyno'd at 109 on a shit dyno). so i would not recommend this bike for a beginner. if you dont respect it. it will put you on your ass. here is a vid of it pulling 109whp. it's untuned although it runs perfectly fine. more power could be picked up though if someone wanted to tune it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=eNyeIn8gAOs
make an offer. the worst I can say is no. I have the seat cowl for the bike. the only problem is some dumb fat girl sat on it while i was at a party and cracked one of the mount points. it can be fixed though. I took the a picture at night just now. the camera is a piece of crap and takes horrible pictures. I will clean the bike up for the new owner (a little dirty from daily riding). just wanted to post some pics up that i took tonight of it. it will clean up just like the pics below that were only take last month.. the bike actually has a spot in my garage, which it does sit in every night.
some various pics of the bike
i actually have picture evidence of the girls breaking my seat cowl. one tried to sit on it, or bumped against it really hard. the cowl itself is fine. just a hinge that attaches it to the bike broke from them slamming on it. it can be reglued/fixed. bitches . never bringing a bike to a party again.
