Say someone is trapped inside a crushed car. The opening to reach them is very small. Now how in the hell are you going to reach your fat arms in to save them? Non fat EMTs can get into any spot or situation and save countless more lives than fat EMTs. Lose some weight, or lose your job.

a) medics don't get people out of cars, that's the fire department's job.

b) i've never been in a situation in which my weight prevented me from saving someone's life.

c) i know medics that are a hell of a lot more fat that me.

d) you have no room to talk until you've actually done the job.

A)-I never said anything about you getting them out. I said saving them. Suppose you get to the scene before the FD. Someone is in a car bleeding to death. Are you just gonna sit and wait for the FD to get there and get them out before you start giving them medical attention? I suppose you would have to since you are to fat to reach them.

B)-So you think. Skinny people are able to do a lot more, faster, than fat people. And you obviously are unable to perform as needed, since you know, you got fired and all.

C)- Medics over 300lbs? I fear for the lives of the people they try and rescue. Won't be long before they are jobless also.

D)-Classic comeback when a fatty gets owned. And like I posted, you obviously don't do the job to well, since you know, you got fired and all.

Last time I checked, 5'10 270 is pretty fucking obese. Sure its not confined to your bed because you are too fat to walk obese, but its obese.

And to be honest, people ALWAYS lie about their weight, so he is more than likely upwards of 285+

a) i have never been to a call in which FD was not already on scene. there is 1 EMS station, there are 7 FD stations - who do you think is going to get there faster? if this were the case, i would initiate rescue attempts with the tools i had on hand.

b) i didn't get fired because of my on-the-job performance. that was never the issue. ever. in fact, i was the recipient of quite a few awards based on my performance during certain calls.

c) one of them in particular has been a medic for 15 years.

d) see B. also, before you attempt to insult someone, it would help you immensely to become proficient in english grammar.

depends on where you work. In my hometown where we are all volunteers everyone on our squad takes hours & hours of heavy rescue training

we have a heavy rescue truck that holds all of our equipment include the jaws of life and all the other cool toys to tear up a vehicle.

i can tell you from first hand experience that i have helped cut many people, both dead and alive, out of cars and trucks

i was let go because i did not have the time to work shifts during the month. try finding out what happened before you insult someone.

also, i wasn't an employee, i was a volunteer. you've got some balls to insult a volunteer medic.

Maybe you would have time to work the shifts if you weren't busy feeding yourself all the time. And last time I checked, when you are unable to work the shifts, you usually hand in a notice that you are gonna quit, you don't get "fired". So nice try at the coverup. Obviously a lot more to the story.

I will insult any volunteer fireman or medic if they fail to live up to the requirements of the job. Which is obviously the case with you.
