I've been watching this show for a good while, but have never found out why he limps like that. A car crash? A bad surgery? Does anybody know

Ok I leave and come back to the TV 5 minutes later completely confused. Is this part of him in the surgery past or present?

It's in this episode. and it was in one before. his muscle tissue started dying i think it said that in the other episode. this one goes more into it really...i'm thinking a clot, cause i can't remember what they said this episode.

and i'm guessing this is also how and why he always is taking pain meds.

I don't want the season finale to come next week! This is my favorite show...
But on that note, you know that he won't kill his ex's husband...that would be the end of the show. It's just gonna be all dramatic. It should be pretty good. Can't wait

No, she's a lawyer. House said that during the episode. She was hired at the hospital to do counseling for cuttey on law related issues, like getting court orders for cutting someones leg off or something.

So DVDTalk has a review up for the House Season One DVD set...apparently it is indeed in widescreen, but non-anamorphic!!. Those of you with 4:3 TVs wont be able to tell the difference probably, but anyone with a 16:9 TV or planning to buy one should definitely avoid this. Unbelievable that a major studio is releasing a non-anamorphic DVD in 2005, especially of a highly-rated show....but thats what Universal is really good at releasing -- crap.

They are totally straight forward with the fact that Epps is his house Negro though. It came up in one of the first episodes. I like that they will admit he only has job b/c he is black.

It is a bit obviously contrived, but I think his asshat expressions are funny.

hes wrong sometimes.

youre missing the premise: there are millions of people, and millions of rare disease. maybe everyones got one rare as disease. house is the only smart enough to be able to actualy nail down a diagnosis among those million choices--hes the only one who knows bc he is, for one, an internist, and two, has been doing this for a while.

if you worked on people who didnt have good diagnosis (plural), youd get damn good at it, nobody else would be able to compete unless they had you experience. its sorta like a specialization.
