I wish all people who doubt hockey can see this game. Absolutely fucking amazing. DiPietro has been AMAZING all game but the Rangers are fighting hard to tie it up at 2..

I'm not sure if it made any highlight packages, but I caught the tail end of the Panthers game the other night on MSGN (was in NJ).
Moore's goal off the back of Luongo with 3 seconds left to tie the game was one of the greatest goals ever. 11/11/2005 2:36:32 PM |

Rangers lost because of penalties. They had more penalties than are frickin football team. Also, they gave up a lot of odd man rushes. Other than that, they out shot the canes for most of the game and dominated even strength. 11/18/2005 7:46:29 AM |

you obviously didn't watch the game. The rangers dominated even strength. Most of the game when they were even strength was played in carolina's zone. Your right, carolina did win. But even with all of those penalties the rangers still OUT SHOT AND OUT PLAYED THEM. All i got to say is wait til next time faggot.
Ohh and Gregor, your half french so that makes you half a french faggot

I wouldn't really point out the shooting advantage when the shots were 29-27. Plus, the Rangers only had five shots in the third (and don't try to blame it on penalties, as they had three penalties in both the second and third and managed eleven in the second). On top of all that, you can blame penalties all you want, but only one of the Canes' five goals came on the PP. 11/18/2005 5:46:01 PM |

this thread reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where they all go to a Devils vs. Rangers game at MSG, and Elaine's then bf is a huge Devils fan. he ends up painting his face, and going nuts at the game, while they are just sitting back with that "i'm not with that guy look." he bangs on the glass and is like "what, i'm just trying to support the team," when the elaine and the rangers' fans are telling him to sit down. the devils win and he's shouting in the streets, when a car pulls up with a catholic priest. Elaine's bf goes up to his window and starts yelling, "whoo, the devils own you and your soul man. Devils #1." the priest is in utter shock, and looks like he's about to have a heart attack.
what a great Seinfeld episode. 3/29/2006 7:24:10 PM |

The only hockey I've seen in months was Gretzky's last game today on ESPN Classic. Jagr ended that one in OT.
Made me wonder if anyone's ever been as good at their sport as Gretzky was at hockey. I doubt it. 4/19/2006 12:25:37 AM |
