I actually read through all this and saw something that made me laugh... about using Vick 'properly'...

Sounds far too much like Madden style football... you know when you play some punk kid who thinks just because he has the Atlanta Vicks he should just run to one side of the field over and over and over using some gimmick play to win.

yeah but the punk kid would do it every play. i'm talking only a few times a game when everything breaks down. probably less scrambling than he does now.

Vick is useless. In the NFL there are 250 lbs. linebackers who can bring him down from behind and 270 lbs. DE who can beat him to the sideline. He completes less than 60% of his passes, he limits the number of formations and plays they can call because of his limited passing abilities. Defenses have learned how to contain him now and it's only going to get worse as he slows down from injury and aging. Is it any surprise that Vick has been less and less successful the longer he's in the league?

In his 5 year career he was 70 total TDs, and averages under 12 games played per season. In that same ime period the Falcons are averaging 8 wins per season, the model of mediocrity. You tell me if that's worth the money they're paying him. I would be almost any amount of money that Atlanta will never win a superbowl with Vick as QB.
