cops aren't allowed to sit outside of a bar to stake out drunk drivers. It hurts the buisness b.c it discourages patrons from attending

these mandatory mind control injections inconvenience me too, but you changed my mind about objecting to them. fucking anti-mind control injection nazis trying to claim their non-mind control rights.

^^^^^^^it would be better if they were waiting outside to tell people to go right back inside and find a couch to crash on, to drive people home, or even not wait outside at all. but i guess they have a job to do. their job just got easier with the new legislation about underage drinking, too.

bike/GoPed DUI is still a ridiculous concept.

In that case, while I'm at it, I should point out to him that in his profile, he may not really have meant to use the 'greater than' sign as a progression. I thought he was bashing Raleigh, lol.

got it right this time i think

never looked at my profile that way, but i guess if you are a mathematically inclined person.. can't really find a better way to represent it

When I was in Japan they had strict drinking laws for bikes too, though they rarely enforced them. It was illegal to ride a bike while holding an umbrella too. :'(

I'd rather them proactively watch for crimes that actually matter, like drunk driving.

But cops go for the low hanging fruit.

But then again if they were the type to work harder than that, they probably wouldn't be cops.

well last time i checked you didn't need to register your bike, have insurance, and a drivers lis. to ride.

they are two seperate mode of transportation and the punishment should be adjusted accordingly and not effect the other. b.c a drunky going 5mph on his bike is the same danger to society as someone driving their excursion 80 mph down the road .

public intoxication- yes
liable for a accident if they go into the road and cause a car to wreck- yes
DUI- NO

a drunk person on a bike could easily create a very real safety hazard on the road
