Hooters wings are not that great

I really like the smoked wings at Ruby's BBQ in Haw Creek (in Asheville)

I honestly didn't like them the first time I went... but over time b/c my friends liked them so much I grew to absolutely love the place...

and their sauces are appropriately named... hot is fairly hot, red hot is dumb and fire hot is ridiculous...

Left -Right always looked shady as fuck. However, it has been there longer than a whole lot of stuff on hillsborough.

Not really your conventional wing but the grilled wings at the Carolina Ale House are outragous.

"I've gotten into the habit of making my own since this past Sunday. We made about 100 for our party and they turned out great. Costco sells bags of uncooked chicken wings, 10 pounds / $15."

but what did you use for sauce and did you grill bake or fry?

and this thread is going nowhere because wings are 100% preference based...some people like sweeter sauces...some people like hotter ones...some like them move flavorful...some like the drumstick and some dont. this argument will never be settled

Wingzone's boneless wings are pretty good because it's a lot of chicken. I don't think I've had their wings though. I go there sometimes just because I love how hot their sauces are.

this isn't a discussion of flavor preference. There's so much more to a wing: quality of meat, breaded or not, and in addition to flavor of sauce, theres the quality and quantity of it.

please know your wings.

i used to work at left right wings for quite a while. if you ever went in and saw the guy who never smiled behind the cash register that was me

i was a decent worker though - the place is ran by hooligans now

they'd be outside smoking and i stood at the register for 2 minutes before they took my order and they're loud and play pool when they should be working

i don't see how the place stays open - still love the wings, playmakers is good as well

I was pleasantly surprised by the wings at Gorman Street Pub. Bob's Black Wings in particular.

Though the Lemon Pepper wings are salty as hell.

Outback Steakhouse has some good wings (for it not to be a "wings" place). I'm not a big saucy/slimey wing type person. I do love a great wing sauce, but I'll just dip or have them lightly covered in it.

one time i went to a hooter's in san diego. i'm pretty sure our waitress was a crack head, and one of my wings had a feather on it. she got an attitude when i complained about it.
