marquette's coach looks like an evil genius

demarcus nelson just kicked the ball into the basket

Carolina's not all that(other than hype). I feel like Duke UNC GT and Maryland are all on similar levels with no clear frontrunner.

[Edited on November 21, 2006 at 10:53 PM. Reason : State is better than all of you think. Man, I look at the UNC board and theres not this much riding]

marquette's on the ball defense is good, but they keep losin people along the baseline off the ball. how many times are they gonna let passes in to someone standing underneath the basket before they figure it out?

^state has good talent, but they just arent deep enough to get too excited about. foul trouble or the rigors of the season could catch up with our shallow bench.

^Ya, depth inside is going to make it really tough to beat the big four i just mentioned. Maybe not so much Duke but UNC especially because they have so many guys to rotate and also fly and also have Hansboro who will draw alot of fouls.

Costner and Mccauley vs the world.

Depth shouldn't be that much of a problem against the other 7 teams.

McRoberts bitches a lot.

Good game. Marquette has been really sloppy at times. McClure has been really a lot better than I thought he would be.

Honestly, I hung in there in high school in CT on the varsity level and I'm a 5'9" white boy. That says it all. I mean I'm pretty athletic and a very good shooter but I'm a 5'9" cracker... I don't think UConn even recruited that guy to my knowledge.. anyway I'm gonna go watch the end of the game. Marquette needs to hold on..

Duke will not make the sweet 16 this year. They have gotten progressively worse over the last 3 years.

way too early to say duke wont make the sweet sixteen...they could wind up playing bumfuck state in the second round for all we know

and i certainly want duke to be good, just like all acc teams...especially against top teams from other major conferences. it boosts the acc's image.

You are right, I keep forgetting about the handjob they get every year. With that said, they are looking at a 2 - 4 seed this year, so the competition is going to be tougher. They are worse at every position with the exception of Nelson.

I forgot that Moody was one of the original Duke dick riders (http://www.thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=396312). About to be disappointed for a second straight year.

i still think they win by 10+

Zaga cant match up to tyler and he will make his FT like always

The Tenn. one is interesting...its a good spread thats for sure...but how well do they match up?

by the way I talked to a Tenn. basketball recruit last night Jaybee, Lenny Daniels. He's gotten some nice offers.

Actually Hansboro is the only place they match up, with hytvelt. The other UNC athletes will run them out.

Solid 2 days for the ACC. The only 4 teams that everyone thought were definitely going to the tourney lose. I think BCU should join America East. God knows they aren't doing anything to help the ACC..
