So yeah. We play on our 42" 1080P HDTV at 1080p. Use 'project 64'. It emulates the game up to 1080p. Looks amazing compared to actually playing on the 64 on that kind of tv. We use a mix of 360 and ps3 controllers, and we're about to invest in some n64 controller adapters so we can use the classic controller w/ the emulator. Roommate and i need some challenges, haven't found anyone who can beat us!

-oh and if anyone is like "well it's not REALLY mario kart cause it's not on the 64" then i'll have to say rethink that. It plays it at the same speed and project 64 emulates it perfectly. The only difference is the controllers, and with a 360/ps2 controller you get faster response times. Although once we get the adapters we're gonna try out the classic controllers with it. It's just amazing how it can upconvert the rom to play at 1080p. I can hardly play it on 64 anymore cause it looks so bad.

haha i sounded like a die hard fan earlier. Think i was in a rush to get my last class over with. Didn't really play it much until college. But yeah, just got a new tv and it looks pretty cool on it. Has anyone else tried to use an emulator?
