i was going to bump someone's question thread, but i didn't know the correct authority for my question.

but when you make kabobs (like w/ chicken) do you marinate the chicken AND veggies or just the chicken? i never really knew i feel like i've seen it done both ways but i don't know what is right/yummier.

the proper way to do kabobs, a la Alton Brown, is all veggies on one skewer, all meat on another, b/c the veggies will cook faster than the meat. and b/c the veggies are small, you will get burnt veggies b4 the meat is done.

but to answer your question...marinate whatever you want
