I enjoyed 'Following'

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0154506/

Its Christopher Nolan's first real film and kept me pretty entertained. There is some non-linear sequencing like Memento, but a lot easier to follow on the first watch.

Definitely appreciate the suggestions in this thread. Glad I watched Man from Earth and Exam

I watched The Man from Earth. It was decent. I think I was expecting a little more because of what people here said. The plot and dialogue are interesting. But the score sucks. As in, distractingly bad sucks imo. I had a tough time getting into it during the beginning because of it and it would pull me out of it times. It was a situation where less would have been much more.

^^ I thought it was pretty funny, but not to the level that a lot of people have ascribed to it.

+1 for instantwatcher.com

I watched A Cat In Paris with my son yesterday, I enjoyed it and it was a welcome break from the normal fare a 3 year old enjoys.

Another recommendation that technically isn't on netflix, but since it's a short (17 min) online, figured I'd list it here. Really thought Jonah was a great short flick

watched Heckler last night

pretty decent 75 minute or so documentary on people who heckle comedians...had dozens of well-known comics giving their stories and opinions on hecklers, and movie critics..."starring" Jamie Kennedy but again has lots of other comics

watched a couple more pretty good documentaries lately

Nirvana: Nevermind is a 49 minute documentary on the production of the album...worth watching if you like the album...and some cool cuts from the original soundboard isolating certain tracks/layers from individual songs

Pulling John is a 72 minute documentary about John Brzenk, the best arm wrestler of all time, an American dude who balled out in the 80s and 90s, contemplating a return...a little cheesy, but not nearly as cheesy as an arm wrestling documentary could be

Does anyone in the documentary talk about the greatest armwrestling movie of all time, Over the Top?

[Edited on June 6, 2013 at 11:25 AM. Reason : apparently Brzenk had a small cameo on Over the Top]

Just started The Score with Ed North and Robert Deniro. I remember watching this in highschool with my dad and realizing Ed Norton has rarely done a bad movie, even in this case when he goes full retard.

It isn't full retard if you play a person of normal intelligence pretending to be a retard.

That's right. My mistake. I just started it, so far it's been nothing but Deniro and Brando.

I Think We Are Alone Now - This documentary feature by director Sean Donnelly follows the adventures of two obsessed fans, 50 year old Asperger's sufferer Jeff Turner, and 35-year-old intersex person Kelly McCormick who claim to be in love with 80's teen-pop heartthrob Tiffany.

recommended...documentary focuses on his run to governor with some brief background on his early life...kind of critical of his politics, but a good watch if you're an Arnold fan...also Alec Baldwin's sexy voice narrates, so Bridget and others should like that part

Catching up on Sons of Anarchy before Season 6 premieres. Already a few episodes into Season 4 & hopefully Season 5 shows up before the beginning of Sept. If not, I got my DVR set to record any random episodes FX decides to show between now and then.
