Watched most of "Frances Ha" last night. The dialogue can be exhausting but I was really liking it. It's on AV Club's best movies of the year. If you like Woody Allen's Manhattan (and you should) then you'll probably like it. 12/29/2013 3:57:01 PM |

I watched that whole thing a year or so ago, but I remember being completely underwhelmed by the ending. To the point that I have not even a slight recollection of what happened, and I'm too disinterested to even google it to refresh my memory.
Watched talhotblonde the other night (per your guys rec) and enjoyed it. Was disturbed by the feelings of familiarity and déjà vu I had throughout.1/2/2014 2:47:33 AM |

I liked "Happy People:A Year in the Taiga" a lot...which isn't on your list. I generally like any Herzog piece, but that one especially.
"Touching the Void" is also fantastic...it's about a disaster on Everest. can't recommend it enough.
Senna, Exit Through The Gift Shop, and Jiro Dreams of Sushi were All good.
"the Imposter" was pretty good...not on your list
I thought Man on Wire was really overrated. heard people recommend "Marewencol" too, but I had to turn it off
And yes, Dear Zachary is the most depressing story ever known to man. DO NOT READ ABOUT IT if you think you will watch it. Just go in to watch it blindly....crazy story
