Yeah some people might call them shit goals, but brodeur is a stand up goalie and if you throw the puck low at the net you'll get some good bounces.

it's not so much the increase, as much as it was the increase without any warning. most people expected an increase, not as much of one, but an increase. the mgmt made no announcement, people only found out when fedex dropped off the bill at their house. now they had literally 4 days to figure out how to come up with in some cases over $1000 more than they had budgeted for or expected.

so some people are pretty pissed.

^^ Well, seeing as they've faced each other three times in the playoff in the past five seasons, I'd say they're both pretty competitive.

The rivalry stems from the 2001 series between Carolina and New Jersey, and the Stevens hits on Francis and Willis therein, then continues with the 2002 series that featured the Irbe/Weekes shuffle and "The Save."
