All of a sudden I started getting a ton of winks and shit on Match. I guess it's because I added some pics of me in a suit? I don't know but of the ones that were cute enough to message, each and every one of them were teachers. Four teachers. I didn't think that would be a major demographic for dating sites, as all of the young teachers I know party pretty hard.

I talked to the cutest one for a while and got her number and we're supposed to set up a date this week, although she's coming off as being overly churchy (besides the God references on her profile).

We were texting and I asked where she went to school (ECU) and I asked her if she did greek life and she said "I did me life, only studied, I never partied, so I missed out". I asked if she played instruments and she said flute so I said "Jazz flute?" and she was like "I feel like that's from Anchorman" and I said "Yeah it was, I'm glad you got that, Will Ferrel is the man", to which she replied "All guys like Will Ferrel but he's just a one act show, anybody can strip down to their underwear and scream insanities". Clearly, she meant obscenities but she also abbreviates texts like "r u still going tho?", which irks the shit out of me

^^ Depends on their age. I think in their first few years, teachers party pretty hard (just like any other profession, most likely).

But all of my fiancee's teacher friends (all at the 30 year age, +/- a year or two) are pretty settled down. We live in a pricey area...but basically they can't afford to go out a lot and all of them have tried or are currently still on match.com or okcupid. They also have to get up at the ass crack of dawn and can't recover like they use to when they were in their early 20s.

that's what it became for me, especially at work, and it got to the point that i was seeing the same faces. so i logged out of both sites knowing i'd be too lazy to enter my login stuff when i got back on next. worked for about a week. and look what happens...i get on OKC and shoot a random message to a girl and end up messaging back and for till midnight. looks like i have a date coming up with a french canadian flight attendant.
