Buddy of mine said he bought 2 today in our hometown. I wish I would have had the time/resources to buy one or two just to sell them.

If you could really get $2000 for one that alone could set you up with all of the new systems and a game for each plus some spending cash, haha.

But I would hate being stuck with 2 of them and not being able to sell at least one of them.

So here is how my day went
woke up at 7:30
went to 8:30 class got out at 9:45
got home at 10:00 and woke my room mate up
called like 15 walmarts to no avail... then called the sanford walmart
"we are supposed to get 6, and we have 4 people in line"
my roomie and i jumped in the car and sped down us 1 in the driving rain.
Arrive in sanford at 11:00
still 4 people in line we are number 5 and 6
wait for 13 hours
we now have a 20GB and a 60GB sitting in the living room. ebay time tommorrow

I had a blast waiting in line. there ended up being 10 of us (6 got consoles 4 got rainchecks and first dibs on consoles that come in the following week or so) we just talked all day long about stuff, constantly checked ebay prices. the manager of the sanford walmart was really cool, brought us coffee and stuff since it was rainy for a while and it got damn cold there at the end from around 7 till midnight

now off to bed

That one friend of mine turned into 4 friends of mine from back home all got in line and each managed to get at least one, that one guy still got 2. Looks like all but 2 of the 5 bought will be sold on eBay.

So, I left the house to go to BB at Crossroads to see the idiots. I drove by the relocated Best Buy thats up beside Crabtree Valley Mall. 25-30 people out there in line.
I get to Crossroads BB and they are only like 7-8 people there in line. Either people gave up waiting and or they were told to go home. I would of drove out there last night but just didn't get around to it.

Man this is awesome. I'm surprised that most of the campers are out to get money and there aren't any crazy fans that just want the system. I went to Target last night and saw 8 people camping out. They were there since 4 PM Wednesday. All of them selling theres. One guy already sold his for $1500 to some guy that promised his kid one. I think he could have gotten more, but he said he didn't want to risk the ebay thing.

Meanwhile I'll just casually go by EBGames after work and just pick mine up. I still haven't decided if I want to sell it or not. All I know is that I saw the demo at Target and it really looks amazing. We'll see how fun it ends up being.

Out of the 6 of us who got one at the sanford walmart, me my room mate and one other guy were selling ours. and while we were talked to each other about ebay prices, 2 of the other 3 people changed their minds about keeping theirs, so in the end probably only 1 of the 6 actually kept theirs. (and were the only ones who bought a game at midnight)

the funny thing is that Best Buy clearly told everyone they wont allow lines outside their store on Capital Blvd until 6:30 am today. there were about 25 people that decided to camp out accross the street at K-Mart for the last 2 days (since Best Buy wouldn't let them on the property overnight) and they made an "official" list. i woke up this morning and got 3 of my buddies to come with me at 6:00am. they ended up doing a raffle and 3 out of 4 of us got a system and we only had to wait about a half hour. there were some pissed off people this morning. but i wasn't one of them.

see, that's just crap. BB is retarded, just like the people that were rolling up to the walmart i was at around 11:45 last night asking where the line ended thinking they could come 15min before they went on sale an get one. since all 10 of us had been chilling there all day and we knew exactly where each of us was in line and that only 10 of us were gettting anything (4 rainchecks) we just kept turning people away telling them to not even bother. line was really pleasant that way, and small.
