think it would be very usefull if a thread is moved to a dif place, say from lounge to chit chat that in the lounge you can still see the thread but it appears locked so no one can post to it anymore, and then w/in the thread whoever moved it posts that it is moved to wherever. gets confusing when they just disapear and you dunno where to.

We have this feature on the forums at B-Boys.com. Whenever the moderators move a thread to a different forum, the topic remains in place, but the thread and all posts within are actually IN the destination forum...kinda like a symbolic link.
