This is one of the only anime i've really liked. It's so psychological. It's not like the same stupid monsters and robots and crap that anime is normally full of.

I think you'd really had to have seen the first few episodes for it to make sense.

the opening scenes are of happy people who are alive and the end credits show dead people.

The people aren't happy. They are caught in a place in their lives where they feel they have no options. Lil' Slugger comes and knockes them the fuck out, thus resolving their problems.

because it's over. 13 episodes. last episode is called "Last episode" that aired last week.
