Their self-titled debut is out now and its a nice surprise. I remember hearing "Upon This Tidal Wave of Young Blood" a while ago but didnt know who it was by. Could be this years Arcade Fire although the guys voice might be a little off-putting compared to Win Butler's.http://clapyourhandssayyeah.com/shows.phpThey have three songs available for downloading off the album. Enjoy.

9/21/2005 8:14:15 AM
sounds more talking heads/violent femmes to me. but skin of my yellow country teeth definitely has a modest mouse sound to it. at least in the bending of that one note.
9/21/2005 9:05:09 AM
i wasnt too impressed with their album.
9/21/2005 9:06:05 AM

9/21/2005 3:56:35 PM
^^I never even read the review, but it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. Everyone who's listened to it at my house has said that.
9/22/2005 10:34:49 AM

9/23/2005 1:20:51 AM
its a good song, yes, but, you're going too farunless you're a girlin which case, carry on-ZiP!-
9/23/2005 1:34:44 AM
that song got old really quick for me. I still like it, but I love "heavy metal" the best.
9/23/2005 8:43:00 AM
current favorite is "this home on ice"anyway, I already purchased tickets, but could someone tell me what the deal is with having to be a member in advance to attend? I don't want to drive to Carrboro just to join beforehand, but of course I will if necessary
9/26/2005 3:10:20 AM
you need a membership to be able to attend shows. i think its a yearly one-time fee you pay to make yourself eligible to to buy tickets and go to shows for that year.
9/26/2005 6:17:50 AM
you can fill out a membership form online (local506.com) and just pay the $5 or $6 for it at the door the night of the show...otherwise you'll have to stand in line and fill it out on the clipboard when you get there.
9/26/2005 11:26:53 AM
