what's a good way to get pictures from movie clips? like from a movie clip you download or if its possible even a dvd....i tried doin print screen while i had a movie paused in windows media player, but a blank screen came up where the picture was supposed to be

i usually do it by pressing Alt + F4

on a helpful note try pressing just print screen and not crtl + print screen....it's just a thought

wtf are u talkin about....thats what i did in the first place.....it prints the screen but not the picture i want from the movie

by saying that it makes it sound like you are pressing ctrl and print screen

Printscreen won't ever work

it isn't possible to do it is the short answer

^ lol. I hope you didn't try that. Yeah it should just be the print screen key. No Ctrl.

If you're using windows media player, you need some sort of plugin if I remember correctly to save a screenshot like that (not sure though). It's been mentioned before so try a search, otherwise someone will come along and link you to the plugin.

You could also just play it in a different media player and try to get a screen capture.

this was a while back so i probly did just press print screen, but where i wanted the picture frame from the movie it had a blank screen

if you use a program to view the movie clips or DVDs (such as PowerDVD), they have built-in frame capture options that output to .BMP or .JPG or something similar

I WOULDNT HELP THIS MOTHERFUCKER OUT

if you put the slider in windows media player to full software for decoding, you can take screen caps with print screen
