How's the NCSU turnout for the BC game going to be? We'll be there assuming we can find a way to get there from NYC without a car

Boston!

I'm gonna be there freezing my ass off. Its right down the street from me. You can get to Boston for 15 bucks each way on a bus.

Yea, the C-Town express buses. They're not too bad. One time on the way back to Boston we did get into an accident though. Mini-van full of teenage girls tried to cut us off and we spun them into a wall. Funny stuff

Boston here...btw the Chinatown bus is no where near where BC is so you will definitely have to also take the T to Chestnut Hill. Just so you know, BC isn't actually in Boston. Makes a lot of sense huh

the houses there are huge (well on Commonwealth at least). I know BC Law is in Newton and the main campus is in Chestnut Hill. Haven't been there in awhile though.. and I hate BC..

Oh yeah...there are no houses for cheaper than $400,000 in Newton and those houses wouldn't be worth more than $125,000 in NC because they aren't that big and they have no land. For the most part the houses are mansions around here. Its crazy how fricken rich people are around here...makes me sick!!! Chestnut Hill is a village of Newton so it still isn't Boston. BC is alright...its a nice campus but Boston in general is just a very pretty area. You all should come visit!

My original plan was to be starting law school at Northeastern this fall but I just can't afford it yet so I had to defer. I still may go there next fall but I'm going to apply other places that may be a bit cheaper to live..

My Mom is from Stoneham (10 mins N of Boston) and I LOVE the city of Boston. Went up there like 2-3 times a month when I lived in CT (until I was 17)

I was looking for a studio/1BR IN Boston and I couldn't find anything to suit me under 1300/month.

I am kind of... I dunno.. I guess you can say snobby when it comes to where I will/won't live so that may have had something to do with it..

I'll either end up moving to the NYC or Boston areas though..

I understand...it was like a culture shock for me when I moved up here being acustomed to the apartments especially around the triangle area. You could get a brand new 3 bedroom apartment for what you can get a studio with no space and no parking and no yard and its old and crappy for the same price. Its all about location, location location!
