Left Wings Right, in front of the bell tower. imho their wings are a lot better then wing zone, they have some really hot flavors too. my favorite flavors are the cajun and the spicy BBQ

^^ i also enjoy Red Hot, they are VERY hot but bearable unlike Fire Hot. the red hot and fire hot have a unique flavor compared to the normal mild/medium/hot varieties

I second that. Best fries ever!!!

Also, if you're a non-spicy wing person, the teriyaki wings are awesome.

left wings right

Spicy BBQ is money, the hot wings are good too

Seriously, why does anyone go to Wingzone when left wings right is right there? Wingzone is really only good if you need a place to deliver.

yeah i usually get them delivered as i'm getting home from work so i don't have to face that campus traffic. and they aren't bad either. left wings right always looked closed to me. if thats the place i'm thinking of...

yeah wingzone is only good for late night after left wings right is closed. i guess the only reason they stay in buisness is b.c they are a franchise and just go there b.c they have heard of the place.

i think left wings right has better prices too

Left Wings Right didn't impress me. I'm a huge fan of Wingzone's lemon pepper garlic.

I really like the Buffalo Wings at buffalo brothers. They're the best non-hot wings I've had.

They also have pretty good hot wings too. plus they deliver (to cary at least, not sure about the Raleigh one)

Left Right Wings is the place for wings. They may not have the special price nights, but they have a great lunch combo, and they serve quality wings.

Hibernian in Cary (and I think) then one on Glenwood have specials on wings starting around NFL season. Their wings are pretty good. I believe the Cary location has a better variety of sauces, my favorite being teriyaki and sweet and sour.

The best bang for the buck wings are those Tyson-brand half-cooked ones at Food Lion. Get yourself a bag of 40 or so, some wing sauce, a bottle of ranch, and you've got a meal for 4 for ~ $12.

Xaxby's is my favorite for wings. You can pick from a bunch of different stregths and they can get really really hot! Great place. The mild is pretty spicy too but I think their nuclear are my favs. They have a honey mustard one too if you want to avoid the heat.

Zaxbys is alright...

I'm getting the impression that I could get the best wings at my house at the best price if I just wanted it bad enough

I completely disagree. I've never gotten ANY food at the Ale house that is anything more than barely edible. And the wings are no exception. Unless they've changed a LOT in the past few months.

Zaxby's "insane" wings are prolly the hottest ones I've had, I can only do about 10 without fear of my asshole exploding the next morning. Their large wing n' things combo hits the spot pretty good, the texas toast cools down the wings pretty good.

I order wingzone all the time, used to do all nuclear but now I mix in half nuclear honey teriyaki which is also good. I usually do playmaker's if I'm sitting down or getting carry out.
