I had both my monitors running at 2048x1536x32bpp but then i rebooted and now i can't change their resolutions to anything above 1600x1200... the monitor driver's didn't change. how do i get my higher resolutions back????

did u check ur video drivers?

yes. i just unchecked the "hide modes that this monitor can not display" check box and set it to what i know works and it's all good.
