AGP wastegate actuator about 2 months ago and it was on backorder. I waited all this time with no word on the whereabouts of the package.

Today I called the people I ordered it from and they said it was sent August 29th. Not only did they not notify me that it was being sent (By phone, email, or anything else), they didn't even require a signature for the package. So, long story short, fedex left it at the front door of my old apartment TWO FUCKING WEEKS AGO. I don't live there anymore, but we still own it for a while.

I have been there a few times in the past two weeks moving shit and the package was never there. I asked the dude today for a tracking number, and when I looked it up, sure enough it was left at the front door. So I guess somebody stole that shit.

Anyways, I filed a claim with the people I got the WGA from. Does anyone have any experience with a situation like this? Do you think it will actually get replaced?

I mean, it's only $150 anyways, but what if I had ordered a fucking set of coilovers or something?

What you need to do in the future is- if its not already policy at your apartment complex, always specify to have the package delivered to the leasing office.

If they didn't fully insure it when they shipped it, they willusually only cover it for $100 by FedEx or UPS

Usually the seller files the claim with the shipper. They don't want to deal with you, as the buyer, because you can't really say what was in the package.

As a buyer, I would accept nothing less than a refund or another part to be sent out. You ordered something and never received it.

I was going there every day or two. I never recieved a notification that the package was even being sent. And when I finally moved everything out and had no need to go there anymore I called the seller to change the address my WGA was being sent to. That is when I found out it had already been sent. This item was on back order for two months dude. I ordered it long before I was planning on moving out.

No, I ordered it in conjunction with a number of other items and didn't want to pay shipping from two different places. Though I am aware that the best place to get it from is AGP themselves.

So they still haven't fixed the situation. They haven't refunded me, and they haven't sent out another part. They told me that they filed a claim with fedex and are waiting to receive word. I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows how long this could take or if you guys think they're bullshitting or something.

If they don't do something soon, like at least give me an ETA on this thing, what should I do? I mean, it's been like 3 months or some shit since I ordered it and I have yet to receive a product or refund.

if you were a pro like me, you would call them up and complain, and tell them you have an event to goto and you are losing money because your part is not here. and they will give you free shipping and like 15% off your order. then you sell the part when it gets here and make like $200 or something.

takes less than a week for a claim to go through.

if nothing happens by then, tell them you are going to issue a chargeback if something isn't done that instant.

Oh, and apparently they haven't filed a claim with the shipper. What really gets me, is I've been calling back on a weekly basis about this. Everytime they just say, "we haven't heard anything yet." Today the dude says, "It's showing that the package was delivered aug. 29th."

And then he informs me that they haven't filed a claim with the shipper. I'm like, "wtf?"

Seriously guys, is there anything that can be done here?

Yeah, but I've had a lot of packages sent there, and this was the first time something like that happened. The problem was that this place never told me it was being sent (It had been on backorder for two months), and didn't send a tracking number. I didn't know to be looking out for it or anything and I probably came home late that night. I honestly don't remember what the fuck I was doing on August 29th (Other than not receiving my WGA).

I guess I'm just not willing to accept this as a loss yet.

Received the WGA on Saturday.

Apparently they sent the original package to my address but in Riley, NC (Wherever the fuck that is). I guess it makes sense that I never got it.

for future reference, ALWAYS pay with a credit card.

visa or MC will go to bat for you in a heartbeat and get your money back, whereas paypal, dhl, etc will drag their feet until the claim time window expires then tell you nothing can be done.

gf bought a phone, and the same thing happened where tracking indicated left at front door, but she never got it, etc. 2 months of arguing got her nowhere, she called visa and they had her money back that day, then someone from paypal ended up calling her pissed that she got her money back.
