the viper game was hard too. i can't remember exactly the details, but she did everything right and it still came down to picking a number to complete the price out of 4 choices. i'd rather have some small measure of control than having to rely on sheer luck

The game is called the yellow brick road or something to that effect. That haven't played that game much, but the final prize is always something insane, like a luxury RV, Corvette convertible, or viper (which has been on multiple times). It is the hardest game though (for obvious reasons) & that's probably the first time it has been won. They start with something a 2 digit number & one of those goes into a 3 digit number. If you get the 3 digit prize right, you pick one of those 3 numbers into a 4 digit prize. If you get that right you go for the big one, where you pick one of the previous 4 digits into the 5 digit monster prize.

So just on sheer luck, you only have (1/2)(1/3)(1/4)= 4% chance of winning. Of course the first one is easy, but the last 2 are not.

Also, I think you have to win everything or nothing, so it is really rare that anyone wins anything. Therefore they can do this game without it costing too much to them.

^^ yep, thats the yellow brick road. When I went in May, they gave away 3 cars. They did Switcharoo, Rollem, and some other game for the cars.
