it has nothing to do with being indie or underground in preference... just because you don't choose to consume anything that isn't shoved down your throat doesn't mean that there aren't good bands out there like gorillaz and green day that we/I like as well. There just aren't enough top 40 artists worth a shit to merit a full list.

Believe it or not, alot of the bands in this thread would be too mainstream for some folks...
