I'm going to the one in Danville on Saturday, instead. The last sanford race sucked... it had like 12 slaloms. Danville, on the other hand, is always good.

I'm going to save the trip and just autox in the Food Lion parking lot. Let me know if you want to join.

Slaloms are fine... but 12 in a row is just boring.

there's a reason that last one was called "slalomania"

i wouldnt judge an entire site by one event. different people in charge (event chairs) and different course designers.

i was considering the one in danville also, but i really dont need to drive the car that much in one weekend.

[Edited on September 21, 2005 at 4:22 PM. Reason : i've been to not-so-good danville events also.]

can any of you guys go down saturday afternoon and help setup? me and PJ have done it a couple times before. its pretty fun and you can make a lot of test runs, etc (but not on the exact real course).

as of now there are only 2 ppl who can setup and there is normally 6-8.. theyre hurting and i dont think me and PJ can make it. so step up if you havent before! *eyes kevin*

that's the basic idea. there's the social aspect of it too, and you get to see some cool cars.

i know i saw beethead on my way out and i think i was infront of him for one run

how did everyone else do?

haah damn. i musta missed that. thats probably not too bad a time considering how much hp helped on that course. it was long and fast. that was the first event i had to shift between 2nd and 3rd a few times. i musta been over 70mph at times
