not bad, just cosmetic damage. still runs/drives fine except for the no front brake lever. needs:

1 mirror
2 turn signals
mid fairing on one side
brake lever
throttle handle
muffler
front fender

i've got it for sale on craigslist as is, i was planning on selling it this winter anyway. if it doesn't sell in a couple weeks, i'll probably do the street fighter thing with it.

glad you're ok, sad to hear you're selling the bike though.

some old fart pulled out in front of me a few days ago in a chevy truck, and after i hit his truck and tumbled down the road the motherfucker took off. im glad i had my cage, so the bike only had a bent clipon, brake lever and the tailsection is all bent sideways. i picked it right up and chased the fucker down. grandpops was trying to tell me it wasnt hit and run because he didnt hit me. if he wasnt about 70 years off i would have pulled his ass right out of truck and broke his jaw.
If i was seriously hurt i would have called the cops. i got off with a few scratches and i dont fell like talking to po-po's unless i really have to, so i gave him a lecture and let him go with a nice size dent in the side of his truck where the bike hit it.

^^yeah, i don't really want to sell it right now but i don't feel like dumping the money/time into fixing it. i had planned to sell it this winter/early spring anyway. like i said, if it doesn't sell though i'll just keep it and strip it down to a fighter. it's really too nice/pretty of a bike for me though, something along the lines of what you have is much more my style.

that road rash sucks, last time it bit asphalt, my arms kept scabbing to my sides under my armpits, so i had to get in the shower and scream like a little girl until it softened up enough to move my arms every morning, too bad you didnt knock off his liscense plate or something, if i saw that shit i woulda run the fucker down, i cant beliveve no one else did.

dont get discouraged scuba steve, you can park anywhere you want and theres nothing like riding a motorcycle. sometimes shit happens, so i suggest the safety course through wake tech before you start riding. it is fun and extremely helpful. but man, i wouldnt give up bike riding for anything..... well....

yeah, don't get discouraged... i'd hop back on one anytime, and plan to buy another one in the late winter/early spring. just don't be a dumbass and not wear leathers. i could have avoided at least 75% of my injuries if i was wearing them. i still would have had the blow to the head and the dislocated shoulder probably, but not nearly that much road rash.
