The only line I can think of is "It's rainin in LA..." somewhere in the chorus

It's probably a country or folk song, possibly bluegrass - moderately fast

I thought it was a John Prine song, but I'm not sure.

Google has been no help.

While that song does contain the words "It's raining in LA" in the chorus, I don't think that is the song I'm looking for. It doesn't look right, just by looking at the lyrics... I wasn't able to download a sound clip.
