so, is there a way to directly wire an iPod into a car with a factory stereo system? I don't want to get one of those lame ass tape deck things or the FM things.

I have a newer honda.

Check out that Harmon Kardon system. It is the best you're gonna get. Simple, easy, and nice as hell. The price isn't too bad either.

What year honda is it?

A lot of newer factory systems have aux inputs. Also, there are various adapters available that can be purchased to connect to most factory head units.

i use this http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=deskbar&q=PAC+AAI-NIS for my maxima - if you have an auxillary input or some sort you can - mine plugs into my SAT (xm radio) input and gives me 2 sets of 2 inputs - i can plug in my ipod or whatever - i use it for my laptop right now

This thing is pretty awesome for factory Honda stereos if you don't have a changer:

A little pricey, but it's an option.
