Is it a bad idea to take CSC 236+MA305+CSC 316 all in the same semester?

totally depends on who teaches ma305 and csc316.

csc236 is easy and fun if you keep on pace with the class.

ma305 was easier to me than calculus(less bullshit to memorize).

csc316 was cake, although i had stewart during the summer 5 week section.

YMMV.

316 can be really time consuming, but you should probably be ok. 236 was my favorite class at ncsu

for 236, just go to the weekly review session and use that time to study for the class, once you understand the topics, it's not a hard class. 316 is time consuming but doable.

I'm planning on taking the same course load. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

ma305 was challenging, but not bad. 236 is straight as long as you do all the work, and the review sessions really helped me. i'm gonna be sitting in 316 with you most likely

MA305 is time-consuming, but not mad crazy hard.
CSC236 can be a little more difficult if the only language you've had exposure to is Java.

CSC316 you should put some heavy time aside for to thoroughly understand and take seriously. Stewart's homeworks were some of the hardest I've had at NCSU ... but if you can understand them, you'll do well on a lot of job interviews.

You can take all three so long as you aren't trying to to toss in a 4 credit hour science + another technical subject. Otherwise, pick MA305 + one other (316 would be the better choice, prereq for more courses) if you don't want to overload yourself.

I didnt have 236 (switched in and other credits handled), however it's not known to be insane hard.
305 was anything but difficult.
316 highly depends on the proff.
