I was wandering if there was anyone else thinking about optometry school that had researched it a little better than I have who could tell me generally how hard it is to get into them. I was looking at Suny in New York or Southern in Memphis. Are there any programs working to be accredited in NC, since I noticed there are not any now? And is there an advisor for that at State?

Just if anyone else was curious, UNCP has been approved to open an optometry school as early as Fall 2007.
