beating BC might get us a couple votes but I seriously doubt we'd be ranked. "IF" we win out and some of the teams drop out of the top 25 then we might stand a chance.

I'm not talking about being ranked; I don't think that will happen.

What I'm concerned about is that we've only played hard against the ranked teams we've played this year.

1) We played hard against VT.
2) We played hard against GT.
3) and then we played hard against FSU.

2-1 against the top 25.

And yes, we made shitloads of stupid mistakes in those first two games, which cost us one of them.

But that doesn't change the fact that we've only really stepped up this season against ranked teams, which is all that I've said.

I'm tired of the Pac 10 and Big 12 consistently fielding the top two teams... I personally feel it should be the ACC and the SEC, but the best we get is the Peach Bowl.

i was assuming that they pulled most of their key players to keep them healthy for the game against Bama...

of course, i didn't see the game, so i don't know if that's what happened

jamarcus russell played the whole game



addai only got 3 carries, justin vincent handled most of the runs
looks like the let skyler green rest, and the passing D held up


keep in mind that Appalachian St. was ranked #7 in Div I-AA going into this game, which I guess would be equivalent to oh... top 50 in I-A

i hope you don't mean we as in the ACC, because atleast one team from the ACC will go to a BCS bowl. possibly even two, but we shall see about that one.

with as much as GT & UGA hate each other, I'd like them to "coincidentally" be the most qualified for the Peach Bowl

well if neither team chokes gt vs ncstate for the peach bowl bid is gonna be close

ncstate has the head to head and would have the finish while gt has the fanbase in atlanta but wouldnt bring in as much money because people wouldnt get hotels go out to eat if the game is across town. gt offers a more exciting passing offensive football game than ncstate. it would be very interesting who they chose

speaking of ap polls. the first bball ap poll came out and nc state is not in the top 25 (we were 29 iirc from the news).
