What did I learn today...

A receiver can put one foot down, get hit, lose the ball, and still have a TD (Shockey).

A receiver with both feet down with the ball, but loses it when he hits the ground doesn't get a TD (Coles). I do agree with the Coles call (this coming from a Jets fan), but definitely not with the Shockey TD. Larry Nemers may be the worst ref in football.

no way. the coles call was bullshit. he had possesion, took two steps, and his knee went to the ground ALL BEFORE his elbow hit and jarred the ball lose.

that was a terrible call

yeah, according to contractual obligations, if the ref didn't call that Shockey catch a TD, he would have to fellate Eli after the game. its in the fine print.
