Don't they make the "Nintendo classics" for most more modern Nintendo game systems?

I remember buyrite selling used nintendo's. However, last time I checked the Raleigh location is now gone. You could try their website.

Be a lot more rewarding if you took the time to hook up an old PC to a TV and played the games off of that. Otherwise, check Flea Markets or Ebay. Systems are dirt cheap on Ebay ... its the games that will jack it up.

I've got a few I could sell. My boyfriend found one at his parents house, one somewhere else, and then I found another one at my parents house...

thanks for all the suggestions.

don't want an emulator... i guess i just want the "feel" of playing one, not just the old games. i checked flea markets and thrift stores but since the hurricane, they have pretty much been empty.

Ive got one, but I don't think it works. Is there anywhere locally that fixes them or are they just trash when they break?

you can tell who didnt have friends growing up, they play nes games on emulator

simple logic tells me that nes is way more fun with other people involved, which is why i would rather have a real nes, these people say emulator, obviously they LIKE nes, so why not like to play it with other people...THE REASON?

they didnt have friends growing up

[Edited on November 29, 2005 at 11:09 AM. Reason : shit like mario three]

^^^You know that more than one person can play on the emulators don't you? Some will even let you play over LAN/net.

I've heard that you can download every NES game ever created including ones in foreign languages and mods/hacks of original games in one small file. Something like 7000+ games.

The Revolution is supposed to be able to play the old school games, but I heard that you'll only be able to play games produced by Nintendo, not games produced by other companies.

I hadn't heard any news in a while on exactly how you'll get your hands on the old games - has anybody heard whether you'll download individual games, buy some kind of custom-made disc with the games you select, etc.?

ya know i went to their store in a nearby mall several months back and they actually had one and several games. i should have bought it then. since, every time i check with them, they only have a hand full of games. haven't checked the website.
