After doing a "student trip" to Cancun last year, my girls and I are planning on doing a cruise this year. Most of us are over 21 ANyone have any new suggestions on cruises?? Also, planning on going thru an agent... any good recommendation on cruise agents here in Raleigh or Cary? THANKS!

PS - Wanting to do a 5 day, Caribbean... any suggestions on Specific Caribbean destinations? I'm not planning on doing Cozumel/Cancun again, I've seen it before - now I'm ready for more of the caribbean

carnival is one of the cheaper cruises. I have been on them twice and I ordered my tickets from vacationstogo.com

I was very pleased with the service on carnival, and if you haven't been on a cruise before you won't know what you are missing by not going on a more expensive one.

Eastern Carribean is very pretty, more so then the western (I think)

St Thomas is beautiful.

For places to go, ask Crazybenni. I think she has been to every island there and can tell you which places are fun to go to.

Aruba (Palm Beach... no Natalee jokes, please... it's a gorgeous place)
Dominican Republic (Punta Cana)
St. Thomas (Magen's Bay, particularly)
Playa del Carmen (on the Mayan Riviera... for the price, I loved it)

also, you might want to consider just going to an all-inclusive resort for the 5 days instead of being stranded on a boat but that's just my personal preference

St. Maarten - Phillipsburg, but head out of there immediately on arrival to Orient Bay or over to the runway beach and bar next to simpson bay. I used to live there, the island is fuckign awesome.
