WE LOST ONE FREAKING GAME "A"...how stupid would we look for firing an acc coach of the year, and a coach that guided his team to the sweet 16 just the year before????? how the heck would you expect for us to get another coach that is at worst the same caliber of Herb after doing that??? what do we sell to the new coach we are trying to hire?

New coach: why did you fire an acc coach of the year that just got you to the sweet 16, a place only 16 teams get to go to every year out of ~300?

New coach: also, why would you fire a guy who is steadily picking up your recruiting to the point where a 5 star point guard is seriously considering coming to your school??

no coach in their right mind is going to come here if we fire herb w/ the way the program is heading...the coach will think it is a lose/lose situation b/c of fans like you (ones who can never be remotely satisfied) we lost one freaking game...everyone loses if you haven't noticed.the last team to go undefeated was indiana in 1976.
