Zeta is still out there. 50 mph winds at 10am this morning.

And I'm still trying to figure out where the "pwnt" was in this thread.

Pwnt being when someone hijacked his thread. Also starting a 2006 thread in 2005 also when the start of hurricane season is six months away.

Well, the 2005 season "ended" more than a month ago, and we're still seeing storms. How do you know we won't have a fluke January storm? It wouldn't be the first time it's happened - Alice2 occurred in 1954.

Actually, asshat, if I had thought about it first I would have not titled it incorrectly. You are implying that we have entered a whole new hurricane season when in fact any storm we have until June 1st will be named from the previous list (i.e.- Zeta after the season "ended"). So instead, you thought you would be cute and start a new thread and your reward is some dangly stickman. Congrats.

And my comment about letting the big kids talk about the weather was in reference to your paultry effort to validate global warming with the one paper you wrote and the graphs you posted.

From the weather blog at WRAL.com (http://html.wral.com/sh/blogger/cumulonimbuscorner.html):

Quote :
"Back on Friday, Tropical Storm Zeta formed and became the 27th named (and 6th Greek letter) storm of the 2005 season, the latest on record since Hurricane Alice2 back in 1954. If Zeta somehow turns out to be succeeded by yet another storm in the near future, it will be named using the pre-defined list for 2006, and would be called Alberto."

So it looks like HockeyRoman is wrong, and Smath74 is right - IF another storm does form.
