is it fresh or salt? I'm getting the tank to move my salt water stuff into, so I wouldn't need the gravel, or fish, and most likely not the decorations. Also, have you used any copper based medications in it?

it's freshwater, and I don't use copper-based medication.

There's a guy in greensboro that I've purchased a few things from in the past selling a standard 125 tank/stand/canopy for $250.

Probably one of the best deals you'll come across. I'll PM you his email addy if your interested.

At this point, why don't you just get a bath tub and throw fish in there?

you can't drill a hole in tempered glass. he probably want's to run some overflows with a second tank below for a sump by drilling holes in the bottom to drain water to the other tank.

^ Thatt is correct, I am going to run a wet/dry filter system. It makes the whole installation much cleaner. You can order new aquariums with tempered bottoms and holes already drilled so it is possible, just no one around here has figured out how yet.

Thanks hgtran. I think that I allready have a deal struck with ncsuwlfpck8. Sound like a good deal if the leak is where an overflow would be located
