http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/sas/output/ttest.htm

The error means you don't have two dichotomous groups in your class variable. Male/Female, Plot A/Plot B, etc. If you are looking for a test to run on three or more "groups", look here http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/sas/whatstat/. It would also help if you could explain to the rest of us what you are trying to do ... we can explain concepts, but not give out code. You may not even be running the correct statistical test.

I drove to Chapel Hill quite a few times for night group meetings for a Statistics course I took there. Get yer butt in a vehicle and get to a lab if you want to finish the project.

damn it's been so long since i've done that stuff. I've got SAS on my computer at my apartment... but I'm currently in EB1 working in a lab. Good luck w/ your 15pages. I've got to accomplish about the same thing... but in something not nearly as interesting (gahh... I miss stats... but ugh... it'll just have to be one of those passions you wonder whether you should've actually majored in but didnt.)
