in my hometown with an issue he's having. He owns a store downtown that has been there for about 20 yrs. The downtown area has gone to shit because of white flight, and a lot of the businesses have gone under. The city has talked about gentrification programs downtown, but nothing big has happened yet. So this business owners store is having a lot of trouble, and looks like it might go out of business. He said if he could get money from the city or some other source he would like to spruce up the store a little, and do some rennovations, and he thinks this could keep the store in business. Anybody know how he needs to go about this. Who should he contact, etc? He would like to present it as helping his business, and helping downtown.
