Where are the best gyms in Raleigh? Best value? Most amenities (e.g. sauna/steam rooms, pools, etc.), closest to Ivy Chase? Thanks!

Let me clarify--I'm a State alumnus so I no longer enjoy the privilege of Carmichael.

if you did one of those pay now, save later things, you could get like all the shit you need for about 500 bucks and just work out at home

Capital Fitness. Yes, it is known as the gay gym. But what assholes don't realize is that there are some smokin hot young women that work out there. So yes, if you are a guy, no matter what sexual preference you have, there is something to look at while you work out. Plus they have a match a friend plan where they match your payment plan of a friend who has the cheapest rate. Mines the cheapest I know so far. PM for the discount.

^moreso, they have the best maintained equipment, facilities and are open 24/7.

Maybe I'm the only one who goes to the fucking gym to work out.

O2 Fitness http://o2fitnessclubs.com/

We just left Gold's Gym at North Hills to join O2. The biggest reason: Gold's Gym is getting severely overcrowded and O2 caps their membership to prevent it from happening. We tested out Capital Fitness but found it to suck. We had been members of the same health club for about 4 years (Highwoods Fitness and Wellness, which became Pulse Athletic Club, which was bought out by Gold's Gym, who then closed the Highwoods location and moved us to the new North Hills)

In regards to Capital Fitness? I have gone to the gym. Was there for three weeks. It sucks. I go to the gym with my fiancee 4 days a week and she goes about 5 or sometimes 6 days.
